Daniel’s collection of plants are a meditation of line and form. His pieces are heavily influenced by Japanese wood block prints. Daniel carefully searches for the delicate balance within each piece, while also attempting to capture an essence of air and movement; quiet stillness.
All of the objects are made in Daneil’s studio, located in Brooklyn, NY. The pigment for each piece is individually mixed; no two are identical. Each numbered piece is carefully considered with both the positive and negative space the object occupies. The work is a celebration of beauty.
